Steve "Bo"" Aurigemma *Deceased

2015
POSITION PLAYED: Shortstop, Pitcher
Years Played in Newburgh Leagues: 1969-1971
Bo was well known for his knowledge of the game as well as his power offensive and his defensive play. He was a 300+ hitter.
He played for Mike's Bar from 1969-1971 and was a member of their playoff championship teams in 1970 and 1971.
Bo also played with Little Brau House from 1970 to 1976 and with traveling teams in Beacon and Middletown.
Steve was inducted into the New York State Softball Hall of Fame in 1998.
William "Alky" DiCastro

POSITION PLAYED: Shortstop
YEARS PLAYED: 1967 TO 1973
Alky was around player and a .271 hitter and is best known for his defensive play at shortstop, with good hands and a strong throwing arm and a wide range which allowed him to take away hits from the opposition.
He played for Gallaghers Raiders from 1968 to 1970 in Newburgh and was on the 1968 Championship team.
He also played in Leagues in Poughkeepsie, Beacon ad Middletown as well as in the Army in 1967.
JESSICA RUCKDESCHEL

POSITION PLAYED: Outfield, 3rd Base and 1st Base
YEARS PLAYED IN NEWBURGH: 1994 TO 1996
Jessica played for the Newburgh Comets, a traveling team with the Newburgh Recreation Park as their Home Field.
She was a left handed power hitter with a batting average of .364
Her clutch hitting produced many runs batted in as well as runs scored.
Jessica also had a great throwing arm which served her well in both the infield and outfield.
Jess continued her career where she played for Marlboro High School and later Dutchess County Community College. While at Marlboro her teams won 2 Section 9 Titles and came in 2nd in the State her Senior year. She continues to play recreational softball today.
Glenn Cabe

POSITION PLAYED: Outfield, Pitcher and 1st Base
YEARS PLAYED: 1965-1973
Glenn played in Newburgh, Beacon, middletown and Poughkeepsie leagues and is best known for his offense as a .290 hitter.
Glen played with Gallaghers Raiders in the Newburgh League and was on the team when they won the league championship.
